Hello to all you gorgeous ladies!

My internship is going great and is definitely keeping me busy! On the 19th it was my 22nd birthday but I couldn't afford to splurge back then which was a bit shit. Today however I finally managed to award myself for the patience and discipline! Go big old me!

Here is THE haul of the year lol:

To some of you it might seem like nothing but to me it is quite a lot, I love makeup but I don't usually spend too much on it because I can't :(

So here's what I got:
MAC Cremeshene in Creme d'Nude
MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC20
MAC Opulash (really wanted to try that one)
Barry M Dazzle Dust 86 (baby pink when applied, brilliant for the summer!)
Barry M Dazzle Dust 71 (rich gold colour)
Rimmel Exaggerate liquid eye liner
Barry M Lipstick 53 (coral shade)
Beverly Hills whitening toothapste (BOGOF @ Superdrug)
Solait self-tan applying mitt

I also tried the Petticoat MSF and although I pledged not to buy any more makeup soon I think I'll go and buy it, it is ERMAZING!!

Haven't tried out the Opulash mascara yet but I've read so many great reviews that I couldn't not buy it, plus, it costs only 12 quid which is pretty much what you pay for mid-range brands.

The cremeshene lipstick .. I am not even going to attempt to describe it and how great it is, just go and buy it. NOW! I don't usually like nude entirely washed-out lippies but this one has a slight pink hue to it and makes your lips look hot and sexy. So sorry I couldn't take a proper pic to show you all how it looks once actually applied, my phone camera is crap:(

Take care and until next time! xxx
Hello chicas!

As you may or may not know, this 25-27 June the Clothes Show will be running at Earl's Court London and places are definitely selling out fast! Ticket prices start at 26 pounds (there is also a 2 pound fee for the transaction) per day and if you are a typical fashion junkie, you might find the price to be well worth it.

Also, expect to see some beauty brands such as Sleek, Benefit, the Elemis Spa Bus, Scarlett&Crimson to name but just a few. So all in all you will get to experience the live 40 minute fashion show at the Fashion theatre, shop around some cool brands, receive the chance to get a beauty makeover, as well as sip champagne and indulge in delicious chocolate treats from time to time or why not all the time! Sounds like the perfect girly quality time to me! xx
Hello ladies!

I hope everyone is doing well and will soon embark on an adventurous and exotic holiday! If not, there have been a lot of sales going on recently which definitely serve as mood enhancers especially if you will be getting rained on throughout the whole summer :P

I miraculously managed to get to my London accommodation in one whole piece! My suitcase weights three times as much as I do and it even ripped on the side which got me quite worried about whether I might have to pick up my underwear from the street lol.

I thought I'd do a review of something I always carry around with me and which I've found to be an HG product. This is Ted Baker's Lippy Kit One and as you  can see, I've almost used it up! The formula is great - creamy lip glosses that apply evenly and do not dry out my lips as many other lip products do. The consistency is thick but has a nice shine to it as well.

Nude shade 2nd left to right

 3rd shade
 5th shade

The colours in my opinion are very well combined, you get two nude colours and two everyday extremely wearable pinkish colours. You also get a top coat which has seemingly large glitters in it but in fact they barely show up on the lips. The palette has a mirror in it which is quite large and a brush which btw I happen to use a lot, it's not the best brush out there but it definitely does the job. I like the fact that there is a magnet in the palette which allows it to close properly and you don't have to worry about it ruining your bag. My only complaint is about the foil they put to cover the lippies which you can't easily remove unless you cut it. I don't get why it's there, supposedly to protect the mirror from getting messy but the foil itself gets so messy that there really isn't any point in it in terms of hygiene. Overall, I will definitely repurchase this palette once I'm out - the price is around 6.50 which I think is a good deal given the quality. There is also a lovely set of reds but since I have yellowish pale skin, I'm afraid it won't be an option for me :(.

What do you think of Ted Baker products? Have you tried any other makeup from the brand?  xx
I feel very guilty for not having posted for so long and I am truly sorry! :( My exams are almost finished but until they 100% are I'll have time for nothing else but reading, eating, sleeping and some part time work. Good news is that I'll be heading down to London to do an internship right after I'm done with exams and then I'll be going home in July! I'm super excited and very proud of myself for finding relatively cheap accommodation in a good location. Hopefully it really is good location because tbh I don't have very good knowledge of London areas but that one seemed ok :P

Soo before I go on reading about services marketing I'll show you my yesterday's FOTD. I did my makeup and was oh so excited to finally go out for a walk..to Tesco. Sad I know but grocery shopping is pretty much my greatest excitement these days. Change is soon approaching though!

FOTD (excuse the wet hair lol):

Eyes:
MUA in Shade 1 Pearl (applied wet)
E.L.F. Studio single eyeshadow in Raspberry Truffle
17 Trio eyeshadow in In The Nude
Topshop Eye pencil in Black Jack
GOSH Perfect Lift n' Shape Mascara

Face:
Revlon ColourStay Foundation in Buff
L'Oreal Infallible Concealer in Porcelaine
Bourjois Blush in I don't know what colour because the packaging broke

Lips:
Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipstick in Fig Leaf

Here is a close up of the lipstick, I think it's a gorgeous nude colour, perhaps a bit too purple-ish instead of pink which I would have liked more but you can easily warm it up by putting gloss or a second lipstick on top.

Take care now and I hope to be able to post more frequently soon! xx
Hi girls! I hope that the bad weather hasn't brought you down in any way, hopefully it will go back to nice and sunny soon, so we can enjoy every minute of it once again :)

I'm feeling very unmotivated today to do revision and I'm sure it's because of that awful weather. You'd think that for two years living here I would've become resistant or at least wouldn't be so bothered by the clouds and rain, but that's not true at all, I still miss my continental "normal" weather lol. The worst part is that the rain and humidity both ruin my hair in ways unimaginable and have made it very thin, dried out my ends and made my roots greasy, yuck! Hence, I find that I need to use a good conditioner in order to be able to look after it properly and restore it back to its normal healthy state. So what am I using?

Well, I am a student so it can't be anything expensive and I also love researching on MUA so it has to be something that is rated highly there and from a lot of people. Add up these two prerequisites and here is what you get:

Pantene Pro-V Restorative Time Renewal Replenishing Mask

The name is loooong but I couldn't care less since the mask is ah-mazing! Here's what it promises to do for your hair:

"Thanks to the Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Time Renewal Replenishing Mask, turning back the clock is easy. So easy, in fact, that you can fight the signs of up to two year's damage by reviving smoothness and shine. Pantene Pro-V Time Renewal Mask has been designed to prevent moisture loss from hair and replenish smoothness from root to tip. Conditioners zoom right into the areas of your hair that need it most, replenishing moisture and shine and restoring silkiness."

It does what it promises! The mask is scented pretty much like all other Pantene products which I love! The packaging is jar-like and I don't have any complaints about that, works for me. I've had this mask for about a year now and I still haven't finished it although I use it twice a week or more! I leave it on for about 5 mins and after I rinse it out I can immediately feel the difference. My hair feels very silky  and soft, smells amazing and is definitely a lot more moisturised than if I use just shampoo or one my conditioners for dyed hair. And finally, the price! The price is just 3.99GBP!!! You can easily grab it at Boots or Superdrug and I suppose Tesco and similar supermarkets. xx

Hello lovelies!
I finally have some time to devote to myself and to my blog, today was my third exam (out of 5) which was in finance and was probably the hardest one but overall I'm quite happy with how I did. I am not proud of the fact that I left all of my studying for the last minute but I am proud that I still managed to cover almost all of the material and actually learn something. It took 14 hours of non-stop studying, 1.5l of Coke, 3 hrs of sleep and more wine gums than I'd like to admit, so as you can see I'm actually the victim here (*does puppy eyes*).  :P

My exam was this morning from 9.45 to 11.45 and when I got back home I slept for 4 hours (ouch) which according to an article I read recently is not a good thing because if you sleep too much or too little your life becomes shorter. I have no idea how I stumble upon such weird press releases but I always do and then my head gets stuck with all those useless facts which imho are total crap.  Anyway, when I woke up I read through the thousands new blog posts which I've missed for the past 2 days and then feeling inspired by some of the amazing looks some of you have done immeadiately hopped in front of the mirror to do a quick look. Please excuse the messy eyebrows and messy everything actually, but I hope you appreciate my sincere willingness to do something pretty for you. :))

 .

Here are my NOTD done with Barry M no279 in Bright Pink. I love this colour, the pictures beneath don't do it justice because it's much more vibrant in reality. Very very summery!

Please note that the following photo does not represent the actual colour at all. I put it because I wanted to do an update about my nail growth, as you may or may not remember I started taking vitamins about erm..3 weeks ago? (blogged about it here) I've been very inconsistent and add to that the fact I've been eating mainly junk food and takeaways lately meaning I have no source of vitamins, I think the results are remarkable. Usually half of my nails would have broken until now before reaching that length! There is just no other explanation for this but the vitamins. I'll be more serious from now on and take them regularly, I'm definitely very impressed with the results. I haven't noticed any effects on my hair and skin but perhaps they need more time, so I'll make sure to keep updating you about everything.

And FINALLY, just a quick Youtube video of a song that played in my head while I was doing the eye look.

I love Nora, she is so talanted and beautiful and her music is so peaceful and lovely. If you've never listened to her, you definitely should! Hope you enjoy this. =) xxx
I love this song so much, it's perfect for hot summery weather! Hope you like! =)
